Blessings

Today was a day of free things.

We left the house this morning to go to storytime at the library. On our way, we went to pick up some clothing from a woman I've never even met in real life, but she offered us some baby clothes on Facebook. I met her when she was looking for homeschooling info in our area.

So as I pull out of the driveway, I see two nice planters at the neighbor's curb, just waiting for the trash men. I grabbed them and put them in the car. I don't think they were ever used.

Then we picked up the clothes from our Facebook friend. There were two big trash bags full of baby things.

At storytime I checked out a few books (free, of course, it's the library). Afterwards, Allyson and Jessica were going through a big box of homemade cloth diapers (pocket ones) and asked if I'd like some. Apparently Susan made them but doesn't need them anymore and the elastic wasn't very good on the larger ones. Lorelei is tiny though, so we got all the small sized ones and the elastic is great on those! There's probably about 10 or so and microfiber towels to stuff them with. Allyson also passed on two skirts and a skirt/top outfit that was too big for her... I know. I shouldn't feel too good about that, but they're like a size 6 or 8 and that made me feel nice. They fit perfectly!

Once we got home, our neighbor Margie called and brought over a chicken pot pie for our dinner!

It's been a good day of free things. People's generosity is always amazing. God can provide in weird ways. :)
